Parents and Students Locked out of Jamb Office

According to reports reaching our news desk today, with pictures, is that the Joint admission and Matriculation board did close their gates and shunned both Parents and Students who were protesting against the re-assigning of Students and Unilag’s post utme cut off marks.

We confirmed that both parents, guardians and students were reportedly left stranded at JAMB office gate early on the 23rd of July morning.

When the protesting groups tried talking to the jamb registrar, they were told to go back to the University of Lagos (Unilag) to make their complaints.

Just in case you don’t know, Unilag sets her cut off marks for admission into the school for the 2015/2016 academic session to 250! And since then, both Parents and candidates are seriously protesting against this move.

Am not trying to side with the University of Lagos Management, but i guess they set this cut off point this high, because of JAMB’S new policy of re-assigning candidates to private Universities.
