Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) Postgraduate Admission (Full-Time) 2015/2016 Announced

We’re happy to inform and notify members of the Nigeria general public, especially all candidates who are interested in applying for admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy, that the institution is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the full time postgraduate programmes in the Postgraduate School for the 2015/2016 Academic Session.

All interested persons should take note that the sales of it’s online Application Forms shall be open from 21st September 2015 and is billed to end on the 8th of November 2015.

All applicants should note that once they have successfully purchase the Access or PIN Codes, prospective candidates should follow the link on NDA official website www.nda.edu.ng or log on to the application portal www.ndapgapplications.net and complete the online application form.

Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna Admission Requirements

These are the complete requirements for all candidates seeking admission, and these requirements are published under it’s various programmes as follows:

Master’s (MA. M.Eng and MSc) Degrees

For all prospective candidates, who are currently seeking admission into the Master’s Degree programme, please take note that YOU must have been a graduate of the Nigerian Defence Academy or any other recognized university.

Another requirement is that such candidate must possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the relevant field of study.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Degree

For candidates seeking admission to study the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)  Degree, they are requirement to possess a minimum of Second Class Honours (Lower Division) at Bachelor Degree and a Master’s Degree in the proposed field of study from a recognized university either from Nigeria or abroad.

Also in addition, all candidates are required to scored an average of not less than 60% or 3.50 at the Masters level.

Duration of Programme

Please take note that the academy authorities is requesting each student who are admitted for Master’s or PhD Degree, that they must pursue a FULL-TIME course of study and research in the Academy. Depending on the degree in view, the following conditions are also applicable:

• A student for the Master’s degree shall pursue the programme for 2 years (4 Semesters)

IT is very important for all candidates seeking admission for PhD degree, that they are required pursue the programme for 3 years (6 Semesters).

Please take note that at the expiration of the period of study for any given programme, a student who has not completed his/her programme shall be withdrawn from the Academy immediately.

However, in exceptional circumstances, all application for extension to complete the programme may be entertained.

While the extension shall not exceed a period of one year (2 Semesters) in case of Master’s degree and 2 years (4 semesters) in case of Ph.D.

A student of Postgraduate Diploma shall pursue a full-time programme for 2 years (4 semesters) and maximum period of 3 years (6 semesters)

Procedures On How to Apply For Admission Into Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA)

All interested applicants are required to purchase the Access or PIN Codes available at all Zenith bank Branches and Cash Offices nationwide at the cost of Seven Thousand Naria (N7,500.00) only, excluding bank charges of Five Hundred Naira Only (N500.00) for online application.

Submission of Application Form

Please take note that upon the purchase of Access or PIN Codes, prospective candidates should Click Here and complete the Online Application Form, and they must submit ONLY their correct details.

Do note that your application is not complete until all copies of the following, including:
Credentials,
Acknowledgement Form,
Referee Form,
Application for Transcripts Form,
Medical Report Form, have been submitted along with your application.
