Using this medium, the Dailyschoolnews Nigeria post utme team, wishes to notify the general public, especially, all candidates of the University of ilorin (UNILORIN), that the educational institution has just released the 2014/2015 Post-UTME, Direct Entry Cut-off marks for admission, the full detailed registration guidelines and screening examination details for the 2014/2015 academic institution.
IT’S important that all applicants of the University of Ilorin note that the tertiary institution, is using this medium, to invite all candidates who have applied for admission into the University, and has choose the university as their First Choice either through UTME or Direct Entry, to the 2014/2015 post utme exercise which has already been scheduled as written in the contexts below.

Step BY Step Registration Guidelines
When you visit the university official website, on the home page of the University of Ilorin website, www.unilorin.edu.ng, proceed and click on 2014/2015 Pre-Admission Screening Procedure.
We advise all candidates to click on Pre-Admission Screening Instructions and carefully read the Registration Instructions, before proceeding:
You can then proceed and type in the following:
* Your JAMB Registration Number,
* SURNAME,
in the boxes provided. Make sure that you carefully type in your JAMB Registration Number as any error committed will not allow your details to be displayed correctly.
All UTME candidates should click on the “Get Details” button for their JAMB information;
While all Direct Entry (DE) candidates should click “OK” button on the dialog box displayed and enter your names;
Then you can proceed and click on “Make Payment” link, where you will be directed to visit the school official WEBPAY page.
Important Note:
ALL UTME Candidates who are qualified for the course, which was originally chosen can proceed to make payment by supplying the required information.
However, UTME Candidates who are not qualified for the course originally chosen are advised to change their course as indicated on the payment page. Please note that the sum of N2,500 (Two thousand five hundred naira) is charged for change of course.
How to Make Payment
The University charges N1,000.00 (One thousand Naira) only for the Computer Base Test (CBT) exercise and N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only for the University processing fee.
You can make payment using the guideline below:
Candidates are to Select ATM card type (e.g Verve or Master Card)
Then proceed and enter your Card Number,
You should enter the Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card and lastly enter your card pin;
and click on Pay.
Important Information:
When the payment is processing, make sure that you don’t cut the tab or even refresh your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart the process again. But after 10 minutes, depending on your network speed.
After Login, click on Continue Registration Link on the main menu.
Then proceed and fill in your other bio-data and necessary details on the webpage, you should use only your real details and information.
Likewise, all candidates are expected to upload their Passports by clicking on the “Browse button” and select their picture.
Note that your Passport must not be more than 20KB.
After you must have complete the Boi-data, you can proceed and click on Next Step button then click “OK” on the message dialog box.
All Direct Entry candidates should complete the Institution of choice and click on Save then click OK on the message dialog box.
On completion of choice of Institution click Next Step button.
Direct Entry candidates are required to select their Higher Academic Qualification(s) from the drop down and click on Save. On the dialog box click OK;
To add more Higher Academic Qualifications click on qualifications drop down to select your additional qualifications click on save; and
Click on Next Step.
All candidates (UTME and DE) are required to supply their O/L details as follows:
Pick Number of sitting(s) by clicking on the drop-down button
Enter all the required O/L details; and
Click on Submit button then click OK on the message dialog box.
Click Scheduling Tab. All candidates must select a screening centre from the drop-down menu. Note an alert will be immediately sent to your e-mail and phone number provided in your bio-data.
Click Print Tab to print out the following:
a. Pre-Admission Screening Registration form.
b. Scheduling Slip.
c. Payment Receipt.
SCREENING DETAILS
The Pre-admission Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place from Monday, 21st to Saturday, 26th July, 2014 using Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Ilorin and Lagos Centres.
Application Closing Date:
All applying candidates should note that the registration for the Pre-admission screening will commence on Sunday, the 13th of July and end on Wednesday, the 23rd of July, 2014.
Unilorin 2014/2015 POST UTME Screening Date
The Pre-admission Screening Exercise is scheduled to take place, starting from Monday, the 21st of July to Saturday, the 26th of July, 2014 using the Computer Based Test (CBT) platform at Ilorin and Lagos Centres.
All candidates should note that the application deadline for all online registration is the 23rd of July, 2014.
However, for candidates who have awaiting results but who have registered on or before the 23rd of July, 2014 have the opportunity to submit their results online on or before the 15th of August, 2014 when the portal will be closed. You can’t access the portal or submit the results after the 15th of August, so ensure you submit the result before the above mention date, so as to be eligible for admission into the academic institution, for the 2014/2015 session
Important Notice for Remedial Students
While for all 2013/2014 Remedial Students, they are advise by the school to await further instructions for their registrations.
Qualifications
All applying candidates must have do the following:
→ Must scored a minimum of 180 marks in the just concluded 2014 UTME for all courses, except those for which higher cut off marks have been specified. You can check all UNILORIN courses cut off marks for 2014/2015 admission HERE
→ You must have made the University of Ilorin (Unilorin) your first choice either at UTME or Direct Entry (DE).
→ You must have obtained Five (5) Credits in relevant ‘O ’ Level subjects, at not more than two sittings except in MB;BS where only one sitting is acceptable.
Qualified candidates are required to should visit the academic institution official website www.unilorin.edu.ng to complete their registration online.
Note that assessing the University website through any of search engines may lead to redirection to other websites not associated with the University, so you should use the link above to access the website.
It’s also important that all applicants, are aware of the fact, that the University charges N1,000.00 (One thousand Naira) only for the CBT exercise and N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only for the University processing fee.

Important Note:
All applying candidates for the pre-admission screening exercise are advised to be decently dressed. Because the school is against indecent dressing, and any candidates with indecent dressing will not be allowed into the screening premises.
Any electronic gadgets like the GSM Phones, bluetooth, or any forms of mobile communication, electronic devices, bags and luggage are not allowed within the screening premises.
You should note that the school have a policy, which says that only candidates who have successfully registered for the screening exercise will be allowed into the screening premises.
