2014/2015 Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Post-UTME Form Released and Guidelines For Registration

USING this medium, the Dailyschoolnews team wishes to inform the general public, especially candidates who score 180 and above and made the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) as their first choice in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) that the 2014/2015 Post-UTME form is now on sale by the school official board.

www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng correspondent was able to gather that the Ahmadu Bello University registration for the 2014/2015 post-UTME screening exercise was to commence on Tuesday, the 9th of July 2014.

Qualifications

All applying candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME for all Courses and have chosen Ahmadu Bello University as their first choice are qualified for the post utme examination.

Step by Step Guidelines For Online Registration for UTME Screening

→ Registration for the screening exercise has already commence, starting from Tuesday, the 9th of July, 2014 and close on Thursday, the 7th of August, 2014.

→ All applicants/candidates are required to pay a sum of N2,200.00 (two thousand, two hundred naira only) for the screening exercise. This is exclusive of bank administrative charges of N200.00.
So ensure that when you go to the bank, you should go with N2,400.00

→ For you to successfully make payment, we advised candidates to visit the University PUTME registration portal (putme.abu.edu.ng) and Generate a Transaction Payment Slip, then proceed and print out the registration slip and proceed to any of the designated banks, which are mentioned below for payment.

→ All applying candidate are required to use their Jamb registration number as their username and their respective state of origin as password to login into the school portal.

→ After making payment in any of the underlisted Banks, candidates are to go back to the PUTME portal (putme.abu.edu.ng) to finish up their registration and schedule for the Screening Test.

→ Please note that the printout of the scheduled test and a printout of the UTME result MUST be submitted on the day of the screening.

→ it’s important that candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own records.

→ Candidates MUST also ensure that they arrive at the screening venue, at least One Hour before their scheduled screening time, to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.

Important Details:

→ All form of electronic gadget, including phones are not allowed during the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

→ Candidates parents, Guardians and uninvited law enforcement agencies will not be allowed into the venues during the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.

→ Don’t bring your own calculators, however, the only calculators which are similar to those provided by JAMB will be allowed into the screening venue.

Examination Venues for Post UTME Screening Exercise

All applying candidates should note that Venues, dates and time for Screening are as contained on the scheduling Slip.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the date as indicated on his/her Schedule Slip would not be considered for admission into the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria during the 2014/2015 academic session.

Step by Step Guidelines For Registration

Step 1: Visit www.putme.abu.edu.ng
Step 2: When it load up, type in your JAMB number and state of origin on the login page and click on login

Step 3: Please note that a transaction ID will be generated for you, you are then required to printout the Slip and go to any of the designated banks listed above and make payment.

Step 4: Ensure that you login after payment to complete your registration and schedule for the Screening test

Step 5: You should also provide your personal records if missing and click update.

Step 6: You must provide a valid GSM number and Email address, this will be the only means which the school will use in contacting you.

Step 7: You should ensure that you upload your true passport size photograph in JPG format (not more than 100KB) and O/level results (where available).

Step 8: Make sure that you choose awaiting result where applicable. Ensure that your photograph is uploaded, before submitting the form.

Step 9: Then click on the save button.

Important Note:
Step 10: When you click on the “save button”, you will automatically be redirected to the Portal where you will be scheduled for the screening.

Step 11: Please, make sure that you print out 2 copies of the Scheduling slip and bring them along during the screening exercise.
