Open Letter From Polytechnics Students To ASUP Union

Since the strike has last this long, many students are tired of staying at home, and one particular student decided to write to the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, read and share.

Dear ASUP!

You have spent over ten (10) months for strike, thereby wasting one accademic session on strike, yet nothing seems to work out.
If the Federal Government have meet with 90% of your demand, that is very good but if the government have failed to do anything on the issue of HND & BSC descrimination in labour market, please don’t come back because that is where we will benefit from as a result of this strike.
if you want to call off the strike because of the ‪#‎40bilion arrears that the Nigeria federal government want to pay you, you are doing a very big mistake because we are not coming back to lecture rooms.

Okay, let us see whom you will lecture.
This is because you cannot use us as a tool for getting your demand and not getting ours. Please try and see reasons with us (NAPS).

Do you agree with the letter above? What’s your thought on this?

Please use the comment box below to share your thoughts with us, and don’t forget to get other polytechnics students to read this on facebook, twitter and google+, using the share buttons below.

as far as I am concerned I know asup fighting for us and we thank them for what they are doing for the greater good of polytechnic students but this my fellow student has made some very fine lines up there good point ciz honestly we have a say in this matter, our top priority in the 13 agenda is HND/FIRST DEGREE dichotomy. Please Asup keep that in mind.
