According to latest information reaching our news desk, the Niger Delta Youth Council (NDYC)and the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has appeal to the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUP) to call-off the strike in the interest of Nigerian Youths.
This information was enclosed in a communique which is signed by the National Coordinator of NDYC, Comr. Jator Abido and the National Amb Comrade Hope George, who is the Vice President South-South.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) who noted in the communique, said that the continued staying of the Students at home is dangerous to the security of Nigeria and that it would lead to several negative behaviours of various students from all parts of Nigeria.
The groups also cried out that as a matter of urgency, the “Nigerian federal government should review the Nigeria education system and policies to meet up with that of the developed countries in the world, so that our youths can stand up in terms of education with students in other parts of the world.
