University of Uyo Set to Resumes Activities on 28th April for 2013/2014 Session

Latest educational news reaching our news desk this morning, is that the authorities of the University of Uyo, which at its 87th Meeting, which was held on Wednesday, the 9th of April, 2014 approved the commencement of academic activities for the 2013/2014 academic year, which has been set to commence fully from Monday, the 28th of April, 2014.

All concerned persons and students should note that the registration exercise will commence on the same date, which is Monday, the 28th of April, 2014.

All newly admitted students are requested to report to their respective Faculty Officers for the screening of their credentials, after which, they will be cleared to pay the required fees at designated bank(s) before registering on-line at the school official portal.

It’s also important to note that all returning students will follow the laid down procedures for their on-line registration after the payment of approved fees by the school senate.

It’s of utmost importance that all students of the University of uyo should note that registration without penalty is for a period of two weeks beginning from April 28, 2014.

That is exactly two weeks from the above said date (precisely the 12th of May 2014)

Also be aware that registration with penalty will commence starting from Tuesday, the 13th of May 2014 and will officially close on Tuesday, the 3rd of June, 2014.

Any students who failed to register within the two weeks stipulated period as disclosed above will be deemed to have forfeited their studentship/withdrawn voluntarily from the University of Uyo.

All students and staff of the above mentioned academic institution are requested to follow strictly laid down procedures for registration to ensure a smooth academic year.
