Nigeria Universities – Polytechnics and College of Education news Nigerian Educational News | Zenith Of Educational NewsRumors which have been floating around for the past few days now in Social media like Facebook, Twitter and Google+ which said that the Federal polytechnic Oko will be moving to another location. According to the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Professor Godwin Onu, has allayed fears that there were moves to relocate the academic institution from Okopoly to his home- town, Ezira, in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
According to the Rector, who dismissed this rumour as baseless and false, disclosed to officials of the youth wing of Oko Peoples Union, (OPU) when he was given an award for his strides in the institution, said those who peddle the rumour did not understand the workings of government.
I just hope that everything work out for good, but right now, Okopoly stands as the one of the Polytechnics in Nigeria.
