ASUU Updates: UNILORIN students Plead with ASUU to end Strike

I really love the way and manner in which the students of UNILORIN are taking this issue, even though they are not considering the fact that they are not affected by the ongoing strike, the students of the University of Ilorin (publicly known as unilorin) have appealed to both the Nigeria Federal Government and the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to come together as one and consider the plights of Nigerian students and call off the current ASUU STRIKE which has last over three months now.

We hope you are aware that Lecturers across 61 Nigerian federal universities have been on strike since the 1st of July over the failure of the Federal Government to honour the agreement which was reached with ASUU in 2009.

According to the UNILORIN students, who recently resumed their academic activities for the 2013/14 academic session, cried out that they are really sad seeing their colleagues from other schools staying at home while they are in school receiving lectures.

We hope this asuu union management and federal government gets to read this.
Thanks for sharing this information using the share buttons below, we believe this strike will be called off.
