Using this platform, we would love to inform and notify the general public, especially all prospective students of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Uwana that the academic institution management board, has released the resumption date for 2014/2015 academic activities in the school.
We were able to learn that the academic activities, which was recently put on halt, after the host community and the school were at loggerhead, since the case has been settled amicably, the school plans to resume full academic activities on the 17th of June, 2015.
All students of the above mentioned academic institution, should note that the resumption date was made know to our educational news publishing platform just last weekend, by the rector of the institution, Prof Ogbonna Ibe-Enwo.
We hope that through this information, both students and the entire university community are to take note of the resumption date as lectures will resume immediately upon resumption, without further delay.

The main reason why the varsity went on strike on Tuesday, the 19th of May, 2015 was because of a crisis which erupted between the host community and the institution over some parcels of land.
