All candidates should note that the new N100 note is specially designed to commemorate Nigeria’s 100 years of amalgamation, and this note was unveiled by President Jonathan today, the 12th of November, and the venue of this, is the state house during the Federal Executive Council meeting occasion.

While presenting the N100 notes to other members of the Council during the Federal Executive meeting, the president said it was a laudable gesture by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to produce the notes which would serve as a reminder of Nigeria’s centenary celebration.
Also speaking on the new N100 notes, the Central Bank governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele disclosed that the notes will be in circulation, starting from this year’s December 2014.
