Latest information reaching us today, is that the WAEC MAY/JUNE 2014 Examination result for the May/June 2014 session is out.
According to information sent to us by the West Africa Examination Council, WAEC, which stats that the much awaited examination result has been released online and all candidates who participated in the examination can now check their result.
All candidates who sat for the May/June 2014 waec exams should note that the result is out and according to information with us, the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results is out and students failed massively in Mathematics and English Language.
According to the Head of National Office Mr. Charles Eguridu who announced that the waec result for 2014 is on Monday, at a WAEC office in Yaba, said this and we quote:
“Total of 529,425 candidates, representing 31.28%, obtained credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics.”
The National officer also went on to say that when the Waec 2014 result is compared to that of 2012 and 2013 May/June WASSCE diets, there was marginal decline in the performance of candidates as 38: 81 per cent was recorded in 2012 and 36.57 per cent in 2013.
The Head of National Office Mr. Charles Eguridu who disclosed that the results of 145,795 candidates, representing 8.61%, are being withheld in connection with various types of examination malpractice.
He also went on to say that these cases are being investigated and the reports of the investigations will be presented in November to the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) to rectify it.
