The management board of the University of Ibadan (UI) have kindly and easily exiled seventy eight (78) students of the school to withdraw from the academic institution based on poor academic performance.
The leadership and authority of the University of Ibadan which sat in May, made the recommendation based on records made available to it by various faculties of the university.
The bulletin, which was issued by the school, stated that the affected students were from 13 different faculties and that they failed to obtain the minimum academic requirements for the 2012/2013 session, so therefore, they leave the school with no other option but to banish them.
Here’s a breakdown of the withdrawn students, which indicated that six of the students gained admission into the university through the Direct Entry mode, 66 through University Tertiary Matriculation Examination while six got into the university through UME.
The bulletin, which was signed by the Registrar of the academic institution, Olujimi Olukoya, said that the premier university would continue to uphold the highest standards which the school had been known for in Nigeria and abroad.
Please this is an indication for all students to study hard, so as not to get expelled.
