UNIMAID Commence Application for Admission Into Remedial Programme For 2014/2015 Session

Latest information reaching our educational news broadcasting platform today, is that Applications are currently been invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Remedial Arts and Science programmes of the University of Maiduguri (UniMaid) for the 2014/2015 academic session.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1.(a) All applying candidates should note that the admission requirement is 5 credit in SSCE, GCE or NECO, which must not be in more than two sittings. You should also note that the credits must include the following subjects:

English Language,
Mathematics,

Plus three other subjects, which should be relevant to the chosen Remedial Programme (Arts or Science).

2.(b) All applying candidates must seat for the 2015/2016 JAMB UTME examination and must obtain a minimum of 180 points.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All applicants should note that payment of three thousand Naira only (N3,000.00), for the purchase of the forms must be made through the University’s Account Number: 030401455.

Which is payable at the Unimaid Micro-Finance Bank,
University of Maiduguri Bama Road Maiduguri.

When you have successfully pay the money, you are then required to present the Bank teller to the Bursary Department for issuance of receipt, which would be used to collect the application forms from the Admissions Office.

The application forms would be available, starting from the 30th of June, 2014.

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED APPLICATION FORMS

The completed application forms must be returned to the Admission Office through the following means:

i. Hand,
ii. Registered post,
iii. by mail

Which must not be later than 31st of August, 2014.

The following documents which are listed below must accompany each application form.

1. One Certified latest passport size photograph (stapled to the form) (the passport should not be later than 3 month)

2. Photocopies of Certificates.

3. A photocopy of receipt for the purchase of the form

4. Your local government indigene Certificate (For the Catchments area candidates only)

Important Note
All successful student admitted for the 2014/2015 academic session will be placed into part one in 2015/2016 Academic Session.

The University of Maiduguri is not obliged to give reasons for the rejection of any application and will not enter into personal correspondence on the matter.
