JAMB Board Extends Sale Of Application Forms For CBT To 31st Of March, 2014

After lengthening the JAMB UMTE 2014 registration date for the forthcoming examination, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, popularly known as (JAMB) has just extended the closing date for the sale of application forms for the Computer Based Test, CBT to Monday, the 31st of March, 2014.

This was made known to www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng correspondent by JAMB Public Relations Officer, Mr. Fabian Benjamin in FCT Abuja.

In a statement which was released to the public on Thursday by JAMB and signed by its Public Relations, Mr. Fabian Benjamin said that the registration extension is specifically for candidates who are yet to register, but hope to do so. He also said that another reason why they extend the registration would give assess for more candidates eager to get admitted into tertiary education, but who could not register for the Paper Pencil Test (PPT) mode.

According to Mr. Fabian, who said that the sole and main aim of this extension is to make sure, that EVERY eager Nigerian is given equal educational opportunity.

According to the statement issued on Thursday, Mr Fabian disclosed and we quote

“The Board wishes to state that it would shut its site after the expiration of this new date to allow for proper logistics and planning in preparation for the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Computer Based Test mode scheduled to begin from May 17.

“Candidates are therefore advised to avail themselves of this opportunity the extension has provided”.

SO for all eager candidates who want to get admitted into Nigerian tertiary institution, but are yet to register, should note that the door is still open for registration for the forthcoming JAMB 2014 examination.
