Advantages & Disadvantages of CBT over PPT and Vice-Versa

Having seen this question on our official facebook fanpage, where JAMB aspirants keep asking us what advantage do the CBT have over the PPT exams, and which advantage does the PPT examination have over the CBT exam.

Well, since the CBT exam started last year, and pulling the data off last year’s JAMB UTME examination, we discovered that for all candidates that choose CBT passed more than candidates who chose PPT.

Advantages of Computer Base Test (CBT) over Paper Pencil Test (PPT).
The JAMB UTME Questions are very cheap and the truth is that it has no negative marking, so you are lucky if you are using CBT and the disadvantage is that with the CBT is that they are offered no time;
Because once the given time for the exam reached, that is the end and your score will be given to you instantly.

There will also be no cheating, since it’s computer that will be marking your question, and there is no missing script.

With the CBT exam, there will be no missing script because you are using computer but in PPT missing script is inevitable.

However, the only advantage that the Paper Pencil Test candidates have over CBT is the time frame, even when their time elapse, they can still quickly shade their answer even when the exam is over.
