LATEST information reaching our news desk today, is that the Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), which is situated in Yola, is using the www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng platform to invite applications from qualified and eligible candidates for the 2015/2016 Post UTME Screening Exercise.
Qualification and Eligibility Of Candidates:
Here are the criteria and requirements for the qualification of candidates before they can participate in the 2015 Mautech post UTME screening exercise.
I: Please take note that all candidates who chose Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola as their Most Preferred First Choice tertiary institution and obtained 180 and above in the just concluded 2015 UTME are to present themselves for the Post UTME screening exercise.
2: The school authorities also disclosed that each candidates are expected to possess not more than two settings of O’level Examination results in any of the following examinations, which includes:
(SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/TCII etc).
3: In addition to the above requirements, all Direct Entry (DE) candidates/applicants are expected to enter the following:
Institution,
Class of diploma/statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, A’level).
Procedures on How To Apply:
Each eligible and qualified candidate is expected to visit the school official website on http://mautech.edu.ng/ and click on the POST UTME tab.
When the website loads up and you’ve clicked on the Post UTME tab, then on the post-Utme page, click on new applicant.
When the new application portal loads up, proceed and enter your names, and a valid phone number (please make sure that it is your phone number for it will be used in subsequent communication with you, and this will be one of the few means in which the school can communicate you) and a confirmation code will be sent to your mobile phone.
Then proceed and use the code which was sent to your phone to activate your account and you will be redirected to the login page where you can formally start your application registration.
To login to the school portal, do use your phone number (The one you entered earlier) as your Username as well as password.
Then confirm your information on the page and proceed to the payment page, where you will be required to pay for the post utme registration.
When the payment page loads up, you are expected to insert your ATM card number, the 3 digits behind the card and your ATM pin number and proceed to pay the total sum of Two thousand, three hundred Naira (N2,300) only.
Please note that after you have successfully made the payment, you would proceed to fill your application form.
Take note that you’re also required to enter your personal information including your names and other relevant information.
Then continue and upload your recent passport photograph with a plain background (JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size) and click on the ‘Submit application’ button.
Important Note:
All applicants should take note that before the final submission of your application, you are to cross-check and ensure all the information you submitted are correct, because after the submission you cannot edit any of the information you submitted, so ensure you go through the information before you clicking on the submit button.
When you are done, do print out the Application Slip with the Serial Number on your slip, after doing this, take note that your login details have changed.
You will now log in with your Application ID as well as your login username.

All applicants should note that the school management will communicate to them through SMS for the date, time and venue of their screening exercise.
Important Notes for all Mautech POST UTME Candidates
I: The school is requiring all candidates to present the originals of their relevant credentials, which includes:
O level results,
JAMB result/acknowledgment slip,
A’ level results
As applicable to you.
ii: All applicants should be aware that photocopies of all results is expected to be present and will be submitted at the center.
iii: All candidates should note that the photocopy of O’level certificate/statement of result(s) will be accompanied by appropriate utility card (scratch card for accessing result) of the examination body.
iv: You are also expected to submit the photocopy of the following:
Indigene letter,
Certificate of birth/declaration of age,
Including a copy of the printed post UTME application form.
