JAMB Subjects Combination for Students Of Arts, Commercial & Social Sciences

USING this medium, the www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng team, wishes to inform and notify members of the general public, especially, all candidates sitting for this year’s JAMB UTME examination, that we have just released a compiled article, which explains in details, the minimum requirement required of the following:

Arts,
Commercial,
Social sciences

candidates before they also embark on the 2015 JAMB UTME registration.

We hope that through this information, all candidates who wish to participate in the exercise, irrespective of their selected course of study must have credit in the following:

Five relevant subjects in the appropriate WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/Teachers’ Grade II examination.

It’s also important, that all Art students with their choose courses as mentioned below:

Law,
Philosophy,
Linguistics

and the rest must possess a minimum of 5 ‘O’level credit passes to include the following subjects listed below:

English Language,
Literature In English,
Mathematics,
Any other three Arts/Social Science subjects.

Commercial Students

While for commercial students, who have chosen courses like:

Accounting,
Banking and Finance,
Business Administration,
etc

Must take note, that they must possess a minimum of 5 ‘O’level credit passes in the following subjects listed below:
English language,
Mathematics,
Economics,
Any other relevant subjects.

Social Science

All Social Science students who wish to go after courses like:

Economics,
Political Science,
Psychology,
etc,

Should take note that they must possess a minimum of 5 ‘O’level credit passes in the following subjects.
English language,
Mathematics,
Economics,
any other relevant subjects.

You still have to check JAMB Brochure for the correct SSCE subjects combination for your institution of choice.

However, you should take note, that some academic institutions may accept a pass in Mathematics for some courses.
