Today, latest information reaching our news desk today, is that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) will will ONLY conduct their examination through CBT method during the 2015 exams. According to the jamb registrar, Prof Dibu Ojerinde who disclosed that JAMB board has resort ONLY to computer-based test in 2015/2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Professor Dibu also noted that with the success which was recorded during last year CBT examination, the jamb leadership had agreed that they will use ONLY the computer-based test in 2015/2016 UTME.
Also speaking on approved centers for jamb 2015 registration in Nigeria, Dibu urged the Niger state governor, Governor Babangida Aliyu to help the board build and operate computer centres in at-least one in each of the three senatorial districts of the Niger state for candidates from the state, where Professor Dibu disclosed that the board has only four computer-based centres in the state.
Also responding to the Jamb registrar, Babangida Aliyu charged JAMB to sanitise the nation’s examination system for a better integrity of the certificates of the nation’s educational institutions.
