FUTA Commences Admissions into Pre-Degree Programme For 2014/2015 Applicants

Futa pre-degree programme commence for 2014-2015 academic session for all candidates! Using this medium, we wish to inform and notify all candidates who wishes to apply for FUTA 2014 Predegree application, that the school is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-degree Science (PDS) Programme of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). All applying candidates do take note, that the PDS Programme is full time, and will run for one academic session of Two (2) semesters.

Admission/Entry Requirements

Using this platform, we wish to inform and notify the general public, especially, all candidates who wishes to apply, that the school requires of them to possess five Credit passes in any of the exams:

West Africa Examination Council (WAEC)
National Examinations Council (NECO)
GCE,
National Business and Technical Examinations Board [NABTEB]

They Must have obtain this result at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects from;

ENGLISH LANGUAGE
BIOLOGY/AGRIC.SCIENCE
MATHEMATICS
ECONOMICS
PHYSICS
GEOGRAPHY
CHEMISTRY

You’re also required to have a credit pass in Economics is compulsory in the School of Management Technology.

Guides on How to Apply For Admission

1: All applying candidates should note that they are required by the school to pay application fee of Fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00) excluding bank charges on e-transact in any bank on the e-transact platform.

2: It’s also important for candidates to note that the school leadership requires that they complete and print out the PDS Application Form online (Click HERE to print out the PDS form) after payment by logging on to the Federal University of Technology, Akure’s website www.futa.edu.ng.

3: When the website loads up, proceed and click on the online PDS Application Form (Or you can CLICK HERE to proceed directly.)

3a: Proceed and submit the Online application form and print out a copy of the registration slip.

b: Please note that the application opens on Monday, the 9th of June, 2014 and will closes on Friday, the 31st of October, 2014. Take note that all awaiting results candidates must upload their result on the www.futa.edu.ng on or before Monday, the 3rd of November, 2014

All persons who are interested in applying, should be informed that they must submit all completed online application forms with the required relevant documents to www.futa.edu.ng not later than Friday, the 31st of October, 2014.
