2014/2015 Lautech Direct Entry Admission Form is Out

Latest information reaching our news desk today, is that the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso (LAUTECH) management board, is using this medium, to invite all Direct Entry Applicants who have chosen LAUTECH as their first choice of institution in the JAMB application form and those that are interested in LAUTECH with a minimum of Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND), Credit in NCE and Lower Credit in HND in relevant subjects to a screening exercise.

How to Apply

All candidates who are interested in the Lautech admission form, are all required to proceed to the official portal of the academic institution www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng.
When the portal loads up, you will be required to make a non-refundable payment of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening and result checking.

You can make this payment using the Interswitch enabled Debit Cards (ATM).

All qualified candidates are expected to carefully fill in their original and truthful details, then proceed and submit the online application form only on the LAUTECH website which is shared above.

Please note that any incomplete application forms will not be treated.

While you are completing the online application form, you are expected to upload a digital copy, which is your scanned passport photograph which must be in a JPEG format (i.e. jpg).

Ensure that the passport is not more than 20kb, because if it is above the 20kb, you won’t be able to submit the form. The photograph must be in white background showing ears, with no cap and glasses.

After you must have submit the application form, all candidates are required and expected to print out an Acknowledgement page which assigns him/her the venue of the screening exercise.

Examination Screening Details:

The Lautech Direct Entry screening exercise has been scheduled to hold on Thursday, the 14th of August, 2014.
The examination time is: 10:00 am at the SIFAX Lecture Theatre.
While the screening will be through oral interview.

All Direct Entry (DE) candidates are expected to attend the screening exercise with the following documents listed below:

a. Original copy of O’level result(s).
b. Original copy of certificate/statement of result as applicable.
c. DE registration prints-out from JAMBs’ website.
d. Aknowledgement page print-outs from the online registration.

Applicants are also required to forward their academic transcript directly to the Registrar of the academic institution before the date of the screening/interview.

It’s also important to note that for any candidate who submitted a blurred or unclear picture on the acknowledgement page will not be admitted for the screening exercise as the photograph will be used as the ONLY means of identification.

Any candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the screening exercise as scheduled will not be considered for admission into the academic portal.

Applicants are advised to come for the exercise with their Acknowledgement page prints-out from the online registration. The use of cell phones (GSM,CDMA,PDA) and other electronic devices is NOT ALLOWED during the screening.

Application Closing Date

All candidates who are interested and are applying, should note that the application form will be available online for completion and submission until Friday, the 25th July, 2014.
