JAMB UTME 2015: Jamb Board Searching for More Centres for 2015 Jamb Exams

Since the Joint Admission and Matriculation board (Jamb) has disclosed and come out publicly to say that they will not be conducting the Pencil Paper Test (PPT) exams in 2015, saying that the 2015 jamb examination will only be conducted through the Computer Base Test (CBT) method.

However, this simple and wonderful decision has left them with a huge problem, and that is providing the examination centres for more than One million registrants.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is using this medium, to called on all concerned stakeholders to contribute to the addition of more Computer Based Test (CBT) centres in Nigeria, which will help the board run a smooth conduction of the 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

This call was made by the JAMB Coordinator, Alhaji Kamaldeen Adedeji who disclosed to a Dailyschoolnews Nigeria correspondent in Abuja, saying that there is no going back on the plan to migrate fully to the computer-based platform in 2015.

Alhaji Adedeji also went on to affirm that the Joint Admission and Matriculation board had commenced the creation and commissioning of new ICT centres in various parts of the country, in preparation for the 2015 CBT examination.

The co-ordinator also went on to add that the various centres were put in place to complement the existing ones in schools and other places used for the examination in the past.
