Just Opened! Application For Admission Into Nigeria Law School (Bar Part II Special Programmes) For April 2014/2015 Academic Session Is On

Using this medium, we wish to inform all members of the general public, in particular all intending applicants for admission into Bar Part II Course that the Council of Legal Education, which is mindful of the impact of the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has graciously approved a special session to clear the backlog of Law graduates seeking Admission to the Nigerian Law School.

Our correspondent, disclosed that application into the Nigeria Law school will commence, starting on Wednesday, the 12th of February, 2014.

We were also informed that the session will commence on the 28th of April, 2014 simultaneously at the following locations:
Headquarters Bwari, Abuja.
The Campuses in Lagos,
Enugu state.
Kano State,
Yola and Yenegoa.

Please note that application For Admission into the April 2014/2015 Academic Session (Bar Part II Special Programme) is currently ongoing.

Admission Requirements

*. The programme is currently open to law graduates of Nigerian Universities and foreign trained law graduates, who have successfully completed and passed the Bar Part I Course at the Nigerian Law School.

Application Closing Date

Note that on the application closing date, you won’t be admitted again for the 2014 session, however, before that time, you are required to downloaded the Application forms together with references on applicants must be completed and returned to the Nigerian Law School through the Deans of the Faculties of Law on or before Friday March 7, 2014.
Late submission of application forms will not be entertained.

Note that the application closing date is Friday, the 7th of March, 2014.

How to Apply For Admission into Nigeria Law School for 2014
All prospective candidates/applicants are required to visit the Nigerian Law School Portal at: mynlsp.com

Important Information for all Applicants
*. Please note that ONLY candidates whose data were forwarded to the Nigerian Law School by Deans are eligible to apply for admission for the 2014 session.

*. Each candidate must therefore confirm from his Faculty before proceeding to pay the application fee.
Note that under no circumstance shall individual candidates approach the Nigerian Law School directly or through Parent(s)/Guardian for admission, it’s illegal and admission wouldn’t be offered to you.

*. Approved re-admission candidates and cleared referred cases are to look out for their names under re-admission cadre on the school official website which is shared above before applying.
Such candidates are advice to attach a copy each of the approval or clearance letters to their application forms, before forwarding such application forms directly to the Secretary to the Council/Director of Administration at the Nigerian Law School Headquarters, Abuja.

*. All applying candidates should also note their Application Numbers will be required when checking their admission status subsequently.
