Just like what we said yesterday, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have agreed to suspend the five months strike next week after the union did signed a Memorandum of Understanding to that effect with Federal Government on Wednesday, the 11th of December.
According to ASUU President, Dr. Nasir Fagge, who signed the agreement on behalf of the union, has also confirmed to journalists that the strike would be called off next week following agreement signed by both parties.
Dr Fagge said that the MoU also contained all the demands presented by the union.
