Meeting With FG was Fruitful – ASUU President, Dr Nasir Fagge

This is to inform all Nigerians, faithful students who waited faithfully for the meeting to end between ASUU and FG, but after 12;00AM, the meeting was still on going, we would love to give you, latest information regarding the outcome of the meeting, yesterday breaking this morning.
Latest reports reaching our news desk today says that the meeting between the President, and striking Lecturers of the Academic Staff Union Of Universities, ASUU just ended this morning, at about 6:30am.

As most of you are aware of, the meeting which commence yesterday at 2:30pm, with the senate President, David Mark, without conclusion, and ended up with the President taking up proceedings at 6pm, in his bid to end the 4 Months Impasse.

Both Parties went for a 15 Minutes break at 8pm and continued with the meeting at exactly 9pm.

Our correspondent who was at the venue gathered that both parties were reluctant to speak, but one who spoke to under anonymity said and we quote him ” the Academic Staff Union of Universities (asuu) leaders who were present at the meeting want to meet with her members for decision to be taken.

However, We were also able to gathered that the ASUU President, Dr Nasir Fagge Mentioned that that the “Meeting Was Fruitful”, though he did not give out details.

We pray that the success of the meeting leads to the calling off of the strike..
