University of Ibadan Post UTME Registration, Cut Off Marks & Dates for 2018/19

THE University of Ibadan Management board has officially released the much awaited and anticipated 2018/19 post utme registration application form for all interested candidates!

Using this platform, I wish to inform the general Nigeria public, especially all candidates who are interested in gaining admission into the University of Ibadan, that the school management has released the full guidelines for her post utme registration 2018, and this includes:

  • University of Ibadan Screening Date,
  • University of Ibadan Cut off Mark,
  • University of Ibadan Qualification For POST UTME,
  • University of Ibadan PostUTME Registration, etc.

The admission office at the University of Ibadan, has pegged the school cut off at 200. Which means, candidates who has scored 200 and above in the recently concluded JAMB 2018 examination, are qualified for admission.

Candidates who scored 200 and above, and are interested in gaining admission into UI, should proceed with their registration on the institutions website using the guidelines shared below.

The school management has announced that their official cut off marks for the 2018/19 academic session is 200, so anyone aspiring to gain admission into the tertiary institution must have scored 200 and above in their UTME exams before they’ll be considered and qualified for admission.

Procedures Of Application

All aspiring and applying candidates are required to visit the registration portal http://admissions.ui.edu.ng/ and sign in using their username and password in the spaces provided to continue with the registration.

POST UTME SCREENING OF PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES FOR THE 2018/19 ADMISSION EXERCISE

Using this medium, I would love to reach out to all candidates who selected the University of Ibadan as their institution of first choice and scored 200 and above in the 2018 JAMB UTME, that the University Of Ibadan website will be open for registration, starting from July 16th and will end August 10th, 2018.

For the submission of their bio-data and SSCE/NECO results online through https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.

Please take note that the deadline for submission of bio-data / O/level results may not be extended, and any candidate who failed to submit his/her SSCE/NECO results before this time, automatically gets rejected and will not be offered admission into UI for the 2018/19 academic session.

This is to say that any candidate, whose bio-data are not submitted within the date/time as mentioned above, will not be considered for Post-UTME Screening and for admission.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTION

(a) To pay for the University of Ibadan Post UTME Registration, all candidates are required to log-in to the Admission Portal (https://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng) using their Jamb Registration Number as their user name and their surname as their password e.g. 65345521EG OYEKANMI (Surname) Afolabi Mary.

Please take note that the screening fee is N2,000.00. This should be paid through the ADMISSION PORTAL in favour of University of Ibadan (Admission Processing Fee Account). Candidate’s Name, JAMB Registration Number, Telephone Number and E-mail Address should be quoted at the point of payment.

Payment Options:

  1. Credit/Debit Card Payment using ATM card;
  2. Cash at bank using the printout from the portal to make payment at the bank; and
  3. You can use the Direct bank account debit, whereby you use your internet banking tools to make payment.

It is very important to note here, that all candidates are expected and required to print the payment success receipt, which should display full names of the candidate (SURNAME first) as in the UTME result slip preceded by the JAMB Registration Number, as the payee and the payment reference number showing the success message.

(bOnce you’ve completed the payment and it’s successful, candidates are expected to proceed on the portal to submit their bio-data and O/level results.

(c) Candidates should make sure that the online forms are carefully filled, following ALL necessary instructions, as “mistake(s)” may lead to disqualification for POST UTME eligibility.

(d) Another important tips you may overlook is this. The school management has instructed all candidates to fill the online forms in CAPITAL letters only.

(e) Candidates are expected to upload their passport photographs and signatures. Take note that the image format for the passport and signature is JPEG and must not exceed 50kb in storage size. The photographs must be clean, clear and candidate must take photograph without glasses.

(f) Candidates are then required and expected to print the evidence of completion of transaction and keep it for further reference, as it becomes important for clearance and other occasions.

(g) An online help desk platform on http://www.admissions.ui.edu.ng/helpdesk will be available to handle all genuine enquiries. So if you have any problem, enquiries, don’t hesitate to use the helpdesk above and get help from the school regarding admission, cut off marks, post utme, screening, registration, Postgraduate, etc.

Important Note:

All candidates should endeavour to note that their Username is your Jamb Registration Number while Your Password is your Surname eg Danjuma.

Step by Step Procedures On Filling the Bio Data Form

It is mandatory that all candidates should note that the Fields marked with asterisks (*) are compulsory.

Your photo size should not be more than 50KB and the file format is JPEG.

Your signature size should not be more than 50KB and the file format is also JPEG.

Please take note that all subjects of your O’Level are in the same selection box. So just pick each subject at a time, then select the grade and click ADD button to add them to your list. Also note that you can also remove any of the subjects if you change your mind.

When you’ve selected all your results, proceed and click on the “Save” button to save your O’Level results.

Take note that a maximum of two sittings are allowed where necessary.

Be aware that the computer keeps track of your level of processing and in case of any power failure or network failure, it takes you to where you stopped when you log in again, it kind of like stores your cookies and any information which you’ve filled, but you computer tripped off.

The deadline for registration in the 2018/2019 Admissions exercise is August 10th, 2018.

The date for the post UTME will be communicated to candidates through their email addresses and sms.

Step By Step Guidelines on UI Screening

All candidates should note that the University of Ibadan Post UTME screening exercise has been scheduled to hold on different dates. Which means that the University of Ibadan management will communicated to candidates through their email addresses and sms, the date for the POST UTME examination.

Candidates who will be registering for the post utme examination are therefore, advised to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers.

The examination venue will be the school ground.
