Duration of Programme/Course
The Uniport faculty of Humanities and education programme is scheduled to last for a period of one year (one academic session).

Step 1: Candidates should note that application for the various Programmes is online. So to commence your application, proceed and log on to the school’s portal @ www.uniport.edu.ng/
Step 2: When the portal loads up on your browser’s screen, proceed and click on application procedure and follow the instructions on how to proceed with the registration form.
Step 3: Please do note that the Uniport’s pre-degree application Forms can be obtained online after a successful payment of a non-refundable fee at the any of the banks which are mentioned below.
You can pay at any of their branches in the 36 states of Nigeria, and these banks are:
A. N11, 150.00 (Eleven Thousand, one hundred and fifty naira) – Faculty of Humanities
B. N10, 650.00 (Ten thousand, six hundred and fifty naira) – Faculty of Education

Step 4: Please take note that inconsistency in Name is not accepted to the University, and if you do this, it may lead to automatic disqualification, so therefore, all candidates’ names on their O’level certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same when they register for any of the programmes.
APPLICATION CLOSING DATE
The school also released the date in which the sales of Application Forms will close, and the date is on Friday, the 18th of September, 2015.
Aptitude Test
Do note that the University of Port pre degree aptitude test has been scheduled to take place on Monday, 28th September, 2015.
Important notes to all candidates:
Please note that all candidates who wishes to transit to the Degree Programme, in addition to the required 5 credits, must do the following:
They must pass the prescribed pre-degree examinations.
All candidates who wishes to transit to the degree programmes must have the appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subject combination and lastly,
You must have the National Minimum Score in the 2015/2016 UTME, which is 180 for universites.
Items/Materials which are needed for the Screening Exercise:
Candidates are required to come with the following and be at the Venue by 8.00am prompt.
Do bring along, a very clear copy of Photocard printed online.
Bring the necessary writing materials, which includes Biro, HB Pencil, Eraser
Do come with a non-programmable Calculator (Programmable Calculators of the FX – 991ES Series, Mobile Phones, IPOD and similar gadgets are not allowed at the screening venue).
