Public Holiday On The 20th And 21st Of August 2012. In respect of the muslim sallah celebration

This is to inform the general Nigerian public that there will be Public Holiday, starting from the 20th to the 21st of August 2012, which is in respect of the Ramadan Fasting.
So there will also be Eid-ul-fitr Sallah, which means, No School.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Monday, being the 20th of August 2012 and Tuesday the 21st of August 2012 as public holidays to commemorate the 2012 Eid-ul-fitr Sallah celebrations.

A press statement released by the Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Ms Nwaobia Daniel, made these announcement.
The Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, has urged Nigerians to emulate the exemplary attributes of Islam which comprises love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence amongst themselves and Nigerians too.

All Institutions, both educational institutions, financial institutions in Nigeria are expected to abide by this announcement, that means there is no school, no lectures, no examination.
