We are glad to inform the general public, that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) management, has released the much awaited date, in which all candidates will be required to check the school portal to know the schools they are been posted to.
While speaking on this new jamb policy, JAMB Public relations officer (pro), also known as the jamb’s spokesman, Mr. Fabian Benjamin stated that all affected candidates should check the jamb website on Friday, the 5th of August, 2015 to know the schools they are posted to.
Also speaking on the protest by candidates who were preparing to participate in UNILAG’s 2015/2016 post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (post-UTME) but were rejected and dismiss because of the cut off points which the school sets at 250, Mr. Fabian Benjamin said that the Board has entered into an agreement with the University of Lagos management, to post the rejected students to other academic institution in Lagos state.
According to Jamb’s spokesman, Mr. Fabian Benjamin who said and we quote him below:
“Admission is not the way people think. We have Merit, Catchment and closeness to a state. Those are the criteria we
are following to arrive at that list we sent to UNILAG. It’s not about the cut off point, there are other considerations.
