OkoPoly To Introduce Computer Based Test Examination

Latest educational information reaching the DailyschoolNews publishing team, concerns an information which was sent to us, which says that the Federal Polytechnic, (Okopoly) in Oko, Anambra State, Nigeria have just introduce a Computer-Based-Test examination system for their internal upcoming examinations.

This is no rumour, because according to the federal polytechnic Oko rector, the computer based test examination method will be used by the department of public Administration as a test, and after that, the CBT examination will be spread to other departments in the institution.

This report, which was sent by a student of the institution, named Faith J., she said that when the memo was pasted on the polytechnic notice board, the students were not in support of the development and they made it known to the school authority immediately.
However, she also made it clear, that if the school board of managements have the needed equipments to carry out this operation, she and other students are in support of the new development.

But the Dailyschoolnews.com team, is in support of this development, ONLY if the school can provide these facilities to every department.
We’re advising all students to learn how to operate a computer.
Because if you are not informed, you are deformed!.
That’s the harsh truth.

But we wouldn’t stop, and think about the students first reaction to this new development, which will surely give them an edge in Nigeria educational sector.

The question on our mind is this:
Did the students rejected the Implementation of CBT for fear of that there will be no more examination malpractice again?

Well, we promise to keep you all informed regarding this development in OKOPOLY.

But if you are a student in OKOPOLY, why not share your thoughts regarding this?
Can you also confirm if this news is true or false?
