We’ve also published here, the Ebonyi State University (ebsu) post utme Date, Cut-Off Mark, Eligibility And Registration procedures and guidelines for the 2018/2019 academic session.
Using this platform, we would love to notify all interested applicants, that the Ebonyi State University management is inviting all candidates who had chose the academic institution as their preferred choice of institution while filling the JAMB registration form and who scored 180 and above in the just concluded 2018/2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they are qualified and eligible to register/process their our Post-UTME starting from:

Important Note:
We would love to notify all candidates that they are all expected to locate/report to their Examination centres, which will be indicated on their acknowledgement slips.
EBSU CUT OFF MARKS
The Ebonyi State University (ebsu) post utme cut off marks has been set, and it’s 180. All candidates who scored 180 and above are qualified and eligible to partake in the examination.
B. METHOD OF REGISTRATION
¹ All qualified candidates (To be qualified, you must have scored 180 or about) should please take note, that it is obligatory and mandatory for them to proceed to any of the designed Banks in C and pay the sum of Three thousand Naira (N3,000) on the e-transact platform; to cover the UTME Registration/Examination and O/L verification/processing.
All candidates should also take note, that they must have collect their e-transact print-out that bears the receipts number and Confirmation Order (Pin) number from the Bank after a successful payment.
². After you’ve got the e-transact print out, the school admission board requires all candidates to go and complete the Registration Form at www.ebsu-edu.net.
³ Please take note that the payment can be made at any of the below listed Bank branches in any part of the country, East, South, West or Northern part of Nigeria.
4. Candidates should endeavor to present their UTME result notification slips to the Bank which they choose to pay the money. This gesture is to make sure, that they process the payments with your correct JAMB Registration Numbers.
Procedures On To Register For EBSU Post UTME Exercise:
You’re required to visit the school website (www.ebsu-edu.net) and click on “Prospective Student”
When the website loads up on your portal, proceed and click on “Apply for Post UTME”
When the post utme registration page loads up, proceed and input your Confirmation Order (Pin) number and your JAMB Registration number.
Please, ensure that you carefully fill the EBSU Post UTME Screening Exercise Application and Registration Form completely with major attention to your WAEC/NECO etc details, which includes:
WAEC/NECO scratch card Pin Number;
Examination Centre Number,
Examination Registration Number,
Subjects with Grades obtained.
Please take note that the purchasing of WAEC/NECO etc. Scratch card(s) for the exercise is the responsibility of each candidates and not the academic institution.
v: When you are through with filling the ebsu post utme registration form with your Waec, Neco etc result, the very next step is to upload your picture.
It’s essential and very important for your admission success, that you upload a clear copy of your passport photograph. (The school discloses that the format of uploading should be gif or jepg and should not be above 200 x 200 pixel).
vi: Once you’ve successfully filled the registration form with the correct details, you can recheck it to see if there’s any mistake. If none, then you can proceed and click on “SUBMIT”.
vii: After that, your acknowledgement slip will be displayed.
(viii: We advice you to print out your acknowledgement slip and keep your acknowledgement slip for later reference/use, it is very important.
Documents/Things To Bring To EBSU Examination Centres
These are the requirements all students must bring to their examination:
♠ Each candidate is expected to come with two clear copies (with clear picture) of their Post UTME ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SLIP.
♠ Each candidate is expected to bring along with them, an original and photocopy of UTME result notification slip with your passport photograph on it. You are also expected to come along with a photocopy of O/L level results to the examination centres for submission during the examinations.
While for candidates with an O/L Awaiting result, should PLEASE WRITE ‘O/L A/R’ on their UTME result slips.
♠ Also come along with the Confirmation Order (Pin) Number which you used for registration (with the Bank Teller)
♠ Don’t forget to bring the necessary Examination tools, like an HB Pencil, eraser and sharpener.

All candidates should take note of the following important details, failure on your part to take note of the below details, the school will not be held responsible.
× ANY Payment after Monday, the closing date of registration, shall be of no effect.
× All interested applicants should note that all due payments without due online registration shall not qualify any candidate for the examination, please take note of this.
× If you submit a blurred scanned passport photograph, this is an automatic disqualification for an applicant.
× Only candidates whose WAEC/NECO etc results are verified by the school website may be considered for admission into Ebonyi State University.
Expected Questions To Answer: Here are the list of subjects/questions you should expect in the Ebsu post utme examination.
Use of English (compulsory for ALL candidates).
Other 3 subjects according to candidates’ choice of programme.
All candidates should please take note, that there will be 14 subjects for Arts related candidates and 9 subjects for Science related candidates to choose from.
Important Details Each Candidate Must Take Note of
Please take note that the school prohibits the use of GSM phones, calculators and other electronic devices in any of the Examination/Screening venues.
You must take note that on the post utme screening examination day, make sure that the OMR (answer) sheet given to you is pre-shaded in your correct particulars.
You are also expected to submit your question papers along with your OMR sheets at the end of the screening exercise, this is very important.
Take note that the screening of results as well as admission into the Ebonyi State University for the 2018/2019 academic year will be published here on www.Dailyschoolnews.com.ng/ebsu and on postutme.org.ng.
Also take note, that manual publication may also be made in EBSU Admissions Office in CAS.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Some students seeking for Direct entry admission into the school should be aware, that they must have choose EBSU and must have possess a minimum of OND/OD upper credit.
If you have done the above following, then you are qualified to participate in this online screening exercise for the purpose of screening/verification of their O/Level results only.
These candidates are NOT required to write the screening test.
EBSU POST UTME REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE
The school admission board has set Monday, the 10th of August, 2018 as the closing date. This means, all payment into Banks shall close on the above mention date.
