2014/2015 Fountain University Post-UTME Date and Details

Using this medium, the Dailyschoolnews Nigeria team wishes to inform the general public that the Fountain University 2014/2015 Post-UTME date has been announced by the school management board. The leadership authorities of the Fountain University, Osogbo are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to the screening exercise for admission into the DEGREE and PRE-DEGREE Programmes through Direct Entry or UTME for the 2014/2015 Academic Session commencing OCTOBER 2014.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

i. The admission requirement for all candidates who are interested and applying for admission into Pre-Degree Programme must possess the following:

Minimum of four (4) O’level credit passes in subjects which must include the following below:
English Language,
Mathematics for Sciences and Management & Social Sciences.

Likewise, all applying candidates with deficiencies in their O’level results will be considered; But such candidates are however, required to make up for any deficiency before the 2015/2016 admission exercise.

ii. While for candidates applying for admission into any Undergraduate Programme must possess the following:

a. A minimum of five (5) O’level credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO SSCE AND GCE.
You must include credit passes in the following subjects:
English Language,
Mathematics, and any other THREE subjects relevant to the proposed course of study OBTAINED WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

iii. All applying candidates should note that the Direct Entry Candidates are expected to possess a good Diploma in their choice of Course (With minimum of Lower Credit) from reputable Polytechnics or Universities OR equivalent A’ Level Passes (including IJMB) in relevant Subjects.

Please note that for all candidates awaiting results can also apply for admission into the Fountain University, but they should note that provided there is the assurance that such results will be available before Matriculation in December, 2014.

(ii) Upon successful completion of the Pre-Degree Programme, candidates who must also satisfy the minimum score in the 2015/2016 JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), would have opportunity of being placed in any of the following Degree Programmes;

C: FEES AND OTHER INFORMATION
All applying students should note that the current school fees is N341,500 (three hundred and forty one thousand, five hundred Naira only) for the Degree Programme.

The fee is payable in two installments of 60:40 ratio at the beginning of First Semester and Second Semester respectively.

Please note that every new student is required to pay N25,000 (Twenty five thousand Naira only) as Acceptance fee before collection of Admission letter. Students will be responsible for their feeding in the University Restaurants.

Note that payment can be made using any Interswitch Debit ATM Card.

You need to provide the following to make payment:

1. Your Card Number e.g. 444433322221111,
2. The Card’s Expiry Date e.g. Jan 2016,
3. The four-digit PIN,
4. The three digit card security code printed on the back of your card to make the payment.
