11 Eksu Students Gets 1st Class as School Graduates 5,859 Students

Latest information reaching our news desk today, is that the Ekiti State University (EKSU) has announced that a total of five thousand, eight hundred and fifty nine (5859) students will be graduating from the above mentioned academic institution in its 19th convocation ceremonies, which has already been scheduled to hold on Friday.

According to the school Vice Chancellor of the school, Professor Oladipo Aina, who said, when he was addressing the 19th convocation press conference on Monday, said that 3,057 full time, 695 part time, 885 affiliate colleges, 664 sandwich and 558 post-graduate would be graduating, and added that 11 of the graduating regular students made first class honours.

The institution’s VC also disclosed that the dream of making the university a world class academic institution was on course and also made the press note this, and we quote directly “our focus has been on building a culture of academic excellence that is founded on adequate infrastructure and a conducive environment for research, teaching and learning.”
