Nigerian Student Dies In US Police Custody

Sad news reaching our news desk today, is that the a 22yr old Nigerian college student, Matthew Ajibade, died in police custody, right inside the United States of Nigeria.

According to reports from the desist family Members, which was he was innocent, his death had however, provoked his family and they are head bent on knowing what has led to his jail death.

The Victim, Matthew did died in an isolation cell, after he “became combative during the booking process,” and this was according to a report which was released from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office in Savannah, Georgia.

However, during the altercation, officials say, three deputies were injured, including a female sergeant who suffered a concussion and broken nose while in the combat.

This explanation, however did correspond with the family members’ description of the 22-year-old, whom they described as a much-loved “geeky kid.”

The Nigeria native was in Savannah studying computer science.
